Ponderosa Room at the Lodge
Summer Season (May 1st–October 21st)
The Ponderosa Room is Wilderness meets Rustic Comfort. Enjoy the outdoors of Flagstaff Nordic Center from the studio style apartment in the upstairs of the Flagstaff Nordic Center Lodge. Guests of the Ponderosa Room will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator and electricity. A double futon and several extra mattress pads can accommodate up to 6 people. The Ponderosa Room is upstairs in the Lodge which is open to other camping guests 24 hours a day. Ponderosa Room guests may be disturbed by noises made by other camping guests that enter the Lodge to use the restrooms. Quiet hours are from 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. Reserve Ponderosa Room below
Amenities & Notes
- Double futon bed and extra sleeping pads are provided.
- Lighting is in place by electric lights, and there are also electric outlets. It is advisable to bring flashlights or headlamps as well.
- There is no wood stove available in the Ponderosa Room.
- Firewood for use in an outdoor, community fire pit is available to purchase for $6 per crate.
- Propane barbecue grill and picnic table is available on the back deck of the Lodge.
- Fully equipped kitchen with sink, refrigerator and 4 burner stove.
- Indoor restrooms with coin-operated showers are located downstairs in the Lodge.
- You supply: sleeping bags, pillows, headlamp or flashlight, food and beverages, personal items, books, games, etc.
- PLEASE NOTE that the Lodge restrooms are open to other camping guests 24 hours a day. Ponderosa Room guests may hear noises made by other camping guests.
Summer Rate & Information
- Weekdays starting at $65/night for up to two people
- $5 extra per night, per each additional person
- $5 extra per night, per dog
- Check-in time is after 1:00 P.M.
- Check-out time is 10:00 A.M.
